This tour presents us with spectacular panoramas and unforgettable moments both in the mountainous part and in the high valleys of the Cordillera Real, being similar to the Inca trail of Machupicchu.
Description
Day 1. LA PAZ – TAKESI
We depart from La Paz by transport to the San Francisco mine, 2 hours away, 42 kilometers away, our walk begins, along the pre-Columbian route of the Incas, ancient and very well preserved. After an hour and a half we reach the pass 4,650 m. From that moment we descend to the high valleys. Camp near Takesi village. 5 hours of Trekking.
Day 2. TAKESI – KAKAPI
That day we descend to lower and temperate regions surrounded by giant ferns and a great variety of flora, begonias, orchids, birds and Andean fauna. In 5 hours of trekking we arrive at the Kakapi campsite, a beautiful place and very heavenly.
Day 3. KAKAPI – CHOJLLA
Four hours of trekking towards the Takesi river and from there we begin to climb to reach Chojlla (mining center) where we have lunch and return to the city of La Paz.
