La Paz city hosts the seat of the Bolivian government. It is located in a huge valley at 3600 m.a.s.l. Surrounded by several mountains with a diversity of cultures and people, this is an unforgettable city.
DESCRIPTION
Down Town: We’ll pick you from your hotel from where the tour starts. First we’ll go to see a local traditional market, the main Plaza (where the cathedral, the government and legislative palace are located), San Francisco church (colonial church), Killi Killi Viewpoint and witches’ market. We’ll also visit a street (Calle Jaen) with colonial architecture where most of the museums are located (It is possible to include a visit to some important museums prior notice).After visiting the city center, we’ll take you on a ride in some of the cable cars with spectacular views of the city.
South Area: At only 25 minutes from down town we have the Moon Valley, a particular volcanic rocky landscape that looks like a valley of stalagmites. Good place to get out of the city, quiet and calm. We will take you on a short ride in the south part of the city characterized for being the richest area of La Paz.
The tour takes around 3 hours and 30 minutes.
